Municipal Art Gallery

The Municipal Art Gallery is housed in the 15th-century Church of St. Francis.

Pinacoteca Comunale

The interior has a single nave with five strong arches and a polygonal apse. Among the most prestigious works are the Crucifix by an Umbrian painter of the second half of the 13th century, the Polyptych, tempera on panel by Niccolò di Liberatore, known as the Pupil, and the Meeting of Joachim and Anne at the Golden Gate, a work probably commissioned by the vicar general of the bishop of Nocera, Giovan Battista Olivieri, from Matteo di Pietro da Gualdo.
