Valtopina

Valtopina rises on the slopes of Mount Subasio in the valley crossed by the Topino River from which it takes its name.

Valtopina

The City Hall, a 19th-century mansion that houses the Valtopina Museum of Embroidery and Textiles and the medieval church of Santa Cristina, where some of the frescoes that once decorated its interior can still be admired, are worth a visit. The area is characterised by evidence of the passage of the Romans and the presence of castles built between the 10th and 12th centuries, including the Castle of Poggio, of which visitors can see the tower, walls and castle church.
